Chandipur Sea Beach

Day – 1: Reach puri via train/car, from Puri rail station / bus terminal. Offer prayers & Puja (only Hindus are allowed) at JagannathDham .

Puri info:Puri is one of the (Char Dham) Pilgrimage Centre of India with the largest kitchen in the world, attracts around One Lac devotees everyday in this temple from all around the world. Bathe , swim & get sun tanned on the best sea beach in India.  Evening free for local souvenir purchases. Night stay  at Puri.

Day – 2:  Proceed towards Konark to marvel the Sun Temple at Konark.Lunch en-route. Evening free. Overnight  at Puri.

Sun Temple at Konark info:  one of the sites of World Heritage, built in a form of Chariot is the Culmination point of Orissan Temple Architecture in 13th Century AD. The life size figure depicting the story of the Social, Royal, Cultural life on the Temple wall has made the great poet & writer Rabindranath Tagore to express his feelings as 'Language of Man is defeated by Language of Stone at Konark'. Also the famed Kamasutra – the tale of lovemaking is carved out in stone.
    

Day – 3: Visit Chilika: Early morning breakfast. Proceed towards Chilika.Overnight at Puri.

Chilika Info: Excursion to Satpada on Chilika Lake to spot the Irrawady Dolphins at the confluence of Bay of Bengal & Asia's second largest brackish water lake. Chilika lake is one of the largest brackish water Lake in Asia. Every year from mid December to mid April, the birds from Siberia & Australia migrates to this lake for breeding; makes this lake one of the worth visit for the Bird Watchers. Lunch at some Chilika local hotels for famed Odiya cuisine. 

Day - 4: Visit NandanKanan zoo, the Caves of Udaigiri & Khandagiri .On the way visiting, 64 Yogini Temple at Heerapur, Pipli Appliqué work village & Dhauli Peace Pagoda.Drive to Bhubaneshwar by car /train. Overnight at Bhubaneshwar.

Day – 5: Visit the Caves of Udaigiri & Khandagiri dating back to 3rd Century BC are worth visit of the Sculptures of age old Artists depicting the Social life of the people of that age.

 End of tour…..

Alternatively……Towards BhitarkanikaVisit: Early morning breakfast. Proceed towards Bhitarkanika here Reserve Forest on the way visiting ChhatiaJagannath Temple & Barua Village of the Golden Grass Craft workers & Buddhist Excavated sites of Ratnagiri, Lalitgiri & Udaigiri. Check in to the Bhitarkanika Village Retreat. Lunch at hotel. Move around this Beautiful Village of Bhitarkanika to enjoy the charm of the Odisha Rural Life style. Overnight in Hotel / Resort at Bhitarkanika.

Alternatively……TowardsChandipur(or)Gopalpur– on – Sea Visit:

Day – 6: Early morning breakfast. Explore the Sanctuary by boat & spot the Giant Salt Water Crocodiles basking on the bank. Enjoy the whole Sanctuary by walk & spot the Deer, Wild Boar, Monitor Lizards, Migratory birds & Many more rare species at Bhitarkanika. Lunch at hotel. Drive to Bhitarkanika World Heritage Biosphere. Explore farmers village where you can watch men working in the field & Women in the morning leave for the Creeks to Catch the Fish & Crabs for the day. Overnight  at Bhitarkanika.

Day – 7: Leave on towards your destination / onward journey.
